The purpose of this meeting is (1) to make the general public more aware of the problems of age related diseases and especially of cardiovascular aging and (2) to promote greater communication among the worldwide community of individuals engaged in biomedical aging research especially between basic scientists and clinicians.
The congress will continue meetings on ageing in Halle and thereby hopefully develop to a focus on ageing research in Germany. It will comprise invited talks and poster sessions. There will be no concurrent sessions.
We want to invite all participants of the workshop to a on Friday afternoon (2 pm to 5 pm).
